Welding fittings
1. the challenge
Furnitures often only have a small base, which does not provide much material for welding, so it is best to use a trick.
2. more material
One or two drops of a similar type of welding wire are first applied to reinforce the weld (see also WS 2).
Here we use a welding wire of 0.4 mm thickness, for which approx. 50 % power is used.
3. milling
A small groove milled between the drops facilitates positioning and welding.
4. welding
Welding is now very easy. The settings are adjusted depending on the thickness of the materials.
The angle/joint mode makes joining parts even more reliable
5. secure hold
A few spot welds on two sides are completely sufficient for a permanent connection.
6. weld the rotary axis
The rotary axes of moving parts can also be welded well if you proceed carefully.
7. serging
Various rubber wheels are suitable for serging, for example.
