Clean the workpiece thoroughly before welding.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">The alloy of the workpiece is contaminated:<\/span><br \/>If the metal of the workpiece has inclusions or the alloy contains metals that burn at low temperatures (zinc, lead, tin, etc.), this may cause sooting.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class='ewd-ufaq-faq-custom-fields'>\n\n\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>B What are possible causes of black welds?
