"PUK 3 basic" is the device for starters with functionality reduced to the minimum.
Its speciality is fixing welds before the soldering processes. Clearly more effective working is possible, because time-consuming clasping and binding work becomes redundant! Already its predecessor the "PUK 111" has many plaudits, who appreciate the very simple operation. After selecting one of the 6 performance levels the device is immediately operational.
Using the output regulator the welding achievement and/or the strength of the welding energy is set.
The size and intensity of the spot welds are controlled in such a way.
The welding procedure is automatically done:
1. Safety gas encases the welding spot
2. A signal announces the arc
3. The light arc appears
4. Safety gas supply ceases
The welding procedure may be stopped anytime by removing the electrode from the work piece
The heat created by the arc is very low. So workpieces can be easily hand held. Temperatures are similar to heat created during laser welding.
